ABOUT

Hello! My name is Taryn Brown and I am a former professional Modern/Contemporary dancer. I have performed  across the USA, and a little bit abroad. My dance career included being an ensemble member in many regional concert-based companies, and making lots of avant-garde solos with multimedia. I taught in higher education for many years, and made my official departure from academia in 2020.

I now focus on filmmaking. Within various roles, I aim to be capable of independence and being a part of a strong team of whatever set I'm on. Being creative, having fun, and making great stories come to life gives me both personal and career satisfaction.
